Material: handmade stoneware pottery
Durability: fired to high temperatures for everyday use — sturdy and not fragile
Care: dishwasher & microwave safe
Finish: glazed surface with raw clay bottom
Made by hand: formed from rolled clay slabs, each piece is one of a kind

The Juniper Pine Butter Dish features a strap-style handle and a gently textured surface created by pressing pieces of juniper into the clay. Designed in a large format to fit European butter blocks, the form feels sturdy yet refined, blending natural detail with everyday function. Each artisan butter dish is formed by hand, making every impression and surface variation uniquely its own.

Subtle variations in form, surface, and glaze are a natural result of the handmade process and are part of what give each butter dish its own personality. Raw clay bottoms provide a grounding contrast to the glazed surface, celebrating the material itself.

This European butter dish is perfect. I buy 8oz bars of butter and I have been wanting a way to use and serve them. This dish is perfect. I love the color and the fact it is handmade. The dish was packaged extremely well and super cute. It was such cute packaging, I almost wish I was giving it as a gift…almost. I know I will be using this butter dish for years and I would buy from this Etsy vendor again without hesitation. I am extremely pleased with the quality, size, color, and craftsmanship.
