Each piece is unique; variations in shape, glaze, and finish are part of the design

Modern Craft is a study in quiet simplicity—handmade dinnerware that balances modern restraint with organic warmth. Made in small batches, each piece is hand formed from slabs of clay, allowing subtle variations to emerge naturally: softly imperfect circles, gently warping rims, and forms that feel shaped by touch rather than machinery.

Minimalist yet warm, refined yet casual, Modern Craft fits effortlessly into both everyday meals and thoughtfully set tables. The aesthetic nods to Japandi design—clean, functional, and deeply tactile—where nothing is added without purpose. These are pieces meant to be lived with: stacked, handled, washed, and returned to the table again and again.

Modern Craft is handmade pottery that doesn’t ask for attention, but rewards it—through texture, proportion, and the quiet presence of something made slowly, by hand.

This is some of the best handmade pottery I have ever touched. The plates are perfect size, bowls are gorgeous and wonderful to eat out of. They sit pretty on the shelves too.

I had to come back for a few additional items and I was able to figure out a wonderful selection of serving plates too. Awesome Etsy shop!
